As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Fredericksburg, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as situations require.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed records according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits as assigned.
• Support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining awareness of surroundings.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (as a condition of employment).
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
