As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Security in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

You will support a caring environment by responding to incidents, assisting with restricted areas, and communicating clearly while demonstrating integrity, reliability, teamwork, and professionalism.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in a healthcare setting, following established entry, identification, and reporting procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking facilities and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
Document incidents, observations, and interactions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals.
Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
