Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Overview

Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is one of the largest suppliers of industrial compressed air and vacuum systems worldwide. We specialize in evaluating each customer's application and providing the most energy‑efficient and effective air system solution. We are seeking a Mechanic for our Fredericksburg, VA location to help maintain the high performance of our industrial equipment.

• Work in a team environment
• Install air compressors, air dryers, and controllers
• Install electrical components such as switches, lights, conduit, disconnects, and panels
• Cut and install aluminum pipe, steel plate, and Unistrut channels
• Insulate and install ductwork
• Cut, bend, and pull wire

• High school diploma
• Basic mechanical skills and mechanical aptitude
• Reading and understanding of blueprints (preferred, but not required)
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits (preferred, but not required)
• Forklift experience (preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with rigging and the operation of overhead cranes (preferred, but not required)
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Regular physical attendance at the worksite

• 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday
• Heated and air conditioned
