A well‑established and growing transportation and logistics organization is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the accounting team with reporting, reconciliations, administrative coordination, and financial support activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast‑paced operational environment while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and reporting functions.
This role works closely with internal departments and external partners to support reporting accuracy, financial administration, and day‑to‑day accounting operations.

- Manage and monitor the accounting department’s shared email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial documentation
- Assist with monthly financial reporting packages, control reports, and financial statement preparation
- Coordinate administrative accounting processes and support internal approval workflows
- Support fuel tax administration (IFTA) and liaise with external service providers as required
- Process fuel invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with ad‑hoc reporting, analysis, and additional accounting duties as needed
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Support accounting operations within a deadline‑driven and fast‑paced environment
- 2+ years of experience in office administration and/or accounting support functions
- Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Office Administration preferred
- Strong understanding of administrative accounting processes, reconciliations, and reporting support
- Experience working in transportation, logistics, or operational environments considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
, with the ability to learn new systems quickly - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and reports
