Join Healwell AI as an Accountant in a hybrid work setup, based in either Fredericton or Toronto. Utilize your bookkeeping and accounting skills in a growing healthcare technology firm.

This position reports to the Operations Manager and involves managing comprehensive accounting responsibilities. Successful candidates will thrive on detail and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, conducting reconciliations, and providing support during the month-end closing processes. You will analyze discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and perform journal entries

• Conduct monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

• Analyze major account expenses and trends

• Prepare documentation for audits and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of accounting principles and systems

• Proficient in Excel and accounting software

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
