Responsibilities Support accounts payable by processing a high volume of invoices and payments for vendors with increased complexity.
Manage the process of hard‑dollar and soft‑dollar vendor transactions.
Troubleshoot with business partners and vendors, building strong relationships with both groups.
Monitor the accounts payable mailboxes and communicate with vendor and customer requests promptly.
Take the lead on resolving issues that cannot be resolved vide second‑tier support for items of higher complexity, including scanning and indexing incoming invoices and routing them to the appropriate department head for approval.
Assist with payment processing, including printing of cheques, EFTs, wires and credit cards in Workday.
Manage ongoing relationships with vendors.
Assist with Amex card application for employees.
Review employee expenses in Concur against company policy for approval.
Monitor the Concur mailbox and assist with monthly reporting to managers.
Assist with projects as assigned.
Qualifications 2–3 years of accounts payable experience.
Proficiency with MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel.
Experience with Workday Finance (asset).
Post‑secondary education in Finance or Accounting.
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and dedicated.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to take on additional tasks to grow in the position.
Compensation Base salary range: $42,500 to $71,000, depending on experience, skills, education and budget. Eligible for a bonus program and a variety of benefits.
