Senior Business Analyst

Required Certification:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.

Required

Education:

• A University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is required.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience facilitating workshops and information-gathering sessions

• Expertise in documenting business processes and requirements using BPMN or similar notation

• Proficiency in developing functional and non-functional requirements

• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar backlog management tools

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience working in healthcare-related projects or similar domains

• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and manage them in Jira

• Experience documenting as-is and to-be processes, gap analysis, and creating training/reference documentation

• Experience grooming and prioritizing backlogs and managing iterative development

Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business and technology teams to identify business needs and document them for use in developing a Lung and HPV Screening Solution. This position involves gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating workshops, documenting workflows and business processes, and managing user stories. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills, as well as experience working on healthcare-related projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and information-gathering sessions; create supporting materials such as presentations, agendas, and meeting minutes

• Document current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes and standard operating procedures using BPMN or similar tools

• Gather and document functional and non-functional business requirements, perform gap analyses, and develop user stories/use cases

• Translate business requirements into user stories and manage them using Jira or similar tools

• Create documentation to support training activities, including reference guides and other instructional materials

• Document operational frameworks to support ongoing program delivery

• Facilitate iterative development and manage changing requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Create and manage user stories, epics, and tasks, ensuring clear and traceable requirements throughout the development lifecycle

• Groom and prioritize backlogs using Jira based on business value, stakeholder input, and technical feasibility

• Perform other related duties as assigned
