Mine Superintendent

Position: Mine Superintendent for Thyssen Mining
Pursue excellence as a Mine Superintendent with Thyssen Mining in Ontario, focusing on underground operations. Your leadership will drive project safety, compliance, and quality standards.

This position requires a proactive approach to managing construction projects on a 14 days on, 14 days off schedule. You'll oversee project phases, ensuring that workmanship exceeds standards while maintaining a safety-first culture. Engage with the project team to manage resources, coordinate with subcontractors, and report progress to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce Thyssen Safety Management Protocols

• Evaluation and scheduling of manpower and resources

• Daily supervision and project activity oversight

• Task assignment to various work crews

• Participate in regular project meetings with clients

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in the mining industry

• Detail-oriented with a strong organizational technique

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiar with safety management systems

• Competence in mining equipment operations
