Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Excavator Operator for a civil and road construction company based in Killarney, NB
. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator seeking long-term employment with a growing company. The successful candidate will operate an excavator to follow grades, cut to subgrades, and support various civil and road construction projects throughout New Brunswick.
JOB DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator safely and efficiently on civil and road construction projects. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Operating an excavator to follow grades and cut to subgrades

• Excavating for road construction and municipal infrastructure projects

• Working safely around underground utilities, including water and sewer systems

• Assisting with site preparation, trenching, grading, and backfilling activities

• Reading and interpreting grade stakes and project specifications

• Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns

• Supporting asphalt and road construction activities as required

• Following all company safety policies and procedures

• Assisting with other construction-related duties as assigned
RATE OF PAY
$32.00 - $36.00/hr + 4% vacation payWage commensurate with experience.
HOURS
Monday to Friday

Typical schedule:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PMOvertime expected based on project requirements.

Worksite will vary depending on project location.
PPE REQUIREMENTS
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots

• CSA-approved hard hat

• High-visibility safety vest

• Safety glasses / eye protection

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators on civil or road construction projects

• Experience working around underground municipal infrastructure, including water and sewer systems

• Experience with asphalt-related projects considered an asset

• Ability to follow grades and work to project specifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Reliable transportation to and from work sites

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
