Position
Superintendent – Brighton Mountain Windfarm (Juniper, NB)
Responsibilities- Provide overall construction management, including design, budget and schedule, in collaboration with the Project Manager, Owners, Engineers and Architects to deliver the project on time and within budget on large complex projects.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression.
- Mentor project team members to ensure career growth and development.
- Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required.
- Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties while assisting in resolving conflicts.
- Be jointly responsible to monitor, interpret and forecast the project’s cost reports, ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
- Construction‑related degree or diploma and 10–15+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- 5–7+ years experience as a Superintendent or Site Lead.
- Experience managing large‑scale civil projects, including hands‑on knowledge of grading, utilities, site preparation and large concrete foundations.
- Working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software, specifically Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings.
- Ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion.
- Ability to manage trade relationships and keep the schedule on track for project success.
- Salary range: $95,000 – $145,000 CAD.
Employees working on the Brighton Mountain Project will receive a generous total compensation package, acknowledging the remote location, flexible work hours based on project phase and travel requirements.
