What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Cost Controls Lead plays a key role in the successful delivery of major projects by developing, maintaining, and monitoring project budgets and schedules while ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. This rotational position is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and requires a two weeks on site, one week remote work schedule. LOA and flights will be provided.

What

You’ll Do Here:
  • Manage and oversee cost controls reporting, forecasting, scheduling, and project reporting.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to develop and maintain the project construction schedule across the entire project life cycle.
  • Create and implement key scheduling requirements such as coding, naming conventions, client requirements management protocol, project calendars and resource loading.
  • Work with the Operations team to establish progress and quantity tracking processes.
  • Analyze schedule variances, monitor schedule KPI’s and support resource planning and analysis.
  • Performs productivity analysis of construction operations and identifies opportunities for improvements.
  • Prepare required progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to the project team and external clients.
  • Develop and facilitate payment applications to the client.
