Position: Education Support Teacher for DHH Students

As an essential member of the educational team, you will directly impact the lives of children and youth who are DHH. Your responsibilities will include fostering collaboration between families, teachers, and community partners to ensure customized support for each learner. Your strong background in assessment and adaptive technology will help enhance educational access and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support educational teams with tiered interventions

• Collaborate on instructional strategies for DHH learners

• Guide families in enhancing their child’s development

• Maintain expertise in assessment tools

• Promote equitable learning environments through technology support

Requirements:

• Master’s degree related to Deaf education

• Valid Teacher Certificate from Nova Scotia

• Experience with diverse needs in DHH education

• Proficiency in American Sign Language

• Strong time management and organizational capabilities
