The Anglophone West School District is looking for a Behaviour Intervention Mentor to assist in the planning and delivery of behaviour support services. Under the direction of the principal, your role will include modeling effective strategies in classrooms and providing direct interventions to students. You will be an integral part of the Education Support Services Team, working collaboratively to enhance student social and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement evidence-based behaviour intervention plans

• Provide direct support to students facing challenges

• Train teachers and staff on behaviour management strategies

• Participate in case conferencing and management activities

• Foster communication with community professionals
Requirements:

• Degree in psychology, social work, or education

• Knowledge of behaviour management and crisis intervention

• Strong communication skills in student and staff interactions

• Experience with evidence-based interventions preferred

• A satisfactory criminal record check is necessary
