Position: Permanent Behaviour Intervention Mentor Role
Take on a permanent role as a Behaviour Intervention Mentor at Sunset Acres Elementary School, focusing on student behavior improvement through innovative strategies and collaboration. This position is crucial for school success.

As part of the Anglophone West School District, the Behaviour Intervention Mentor plays a key role in supporting educators and students alike. You will be responsible for implementing tiered strategies, conducting interventions, and training staff in effective behaviour management practices. Your expertise will directly contribute to developing positive behaviours and promoting resilience among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering behaviour interventions

• Support teachers in creating supportive classroom environments

• Facilitate individual or group interventions for students

• Collaborate with the Education Support Services Team

• Provide training on conflict and anger management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as education or psychology

• Understanding of positive support and behaviour strategies

• Experience in educational or treatment settings preferred

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• A criminal record check is a requirement
