In this pivotal role, focus on supporting Indigenous students by guiding them toward meaningful opportunities in career and personal growth. You will develop programming that honors Indigenous cultures, facilitate community engagement, and provide vital resources for student success. Working closely with various teams, you will help foster relationships between students and Indigenous organizations in New Brunswick.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise students on cultural and employment development
• Communicate and promote experiential learning opportunities
• Use person-centered approaches to assist student needs
• Develop professional workshops and access for students
• Coordinate partnerships with organizations for student success
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or in progress, social sciences preferred
• Strong ties to Indigenous communities in New Brunswick
• Experience in student development and leadership
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with social service programs for Indigenous populations
Drive impactful change in Indigenous student experiences mas University.
