Rock and Pop Music Teacher

Position: Full-Time Rock and Pop Music Teacher
Become a Regional Rock and Pop Music Teacher with Rocksteady Music School in North Yorkshire. This full-time role combines musical talent with teaching kids in inspiring school environments.

As a Regional Band Leader, you will engage students through rock and pop band lessons. With no teaching experience necessary, your musical ability and enthusiasm are crucial. You will cover schools predominantly in York and surrounding areas, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cover and catch-up lessons in various schools

• Assess and meet children's music education needs

• Build positive relationships with school staff

• Maintain administrative duties related to lessons

• Support and mentor new Band Leaders as needed

Requirements:

• Competency in at least two instruments (drums, guitar, etc.)

• UK/EU driving licence and own transport required

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Friendly and approachable demeanor

• Resilient and adaptable under changing conditions
