Enhance the dance education journey for high school students in New Brunswick. We are looking for committed tutors to support MMIIDP students during their training weeks at home school.
Join Mawiamalga’tijig / Mowokahtine, a unique dance program by Atlantic Ballet Indigenous, supporting nine students who attend this exceptional program starting September 2025. Tutors will provide 6 to 8 hours of instruction per month, assisting students from Sugarloaf and Fredericton High Schools during the weeks they are away for training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor 1-2 students during school hours
• Provide 6-8 hours of support each month
• Conduct sessions at school based on student schedules
• Complete Policy 701 training
• Undergo a criminal record check
Requirements:
• Certified teachers receive $30/hr
• Non-certified teachers receive $22.50/hr
• Commitment from September to May
• Ability to work with high school students
• Passion for arts education and mentorship
