Make a difference in renewable energy as a Senior Service Technician with e-STORAGE in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role focuses on commissioning and maintaining advanced battery systems for utility-scale projects. At e-STORAGE, a part of Canadian Solar Inc., you will undertake commissioning and maintenance for the Sol Bank Storage Power Block.
Your expertise will ensure our Battery Energy Storage Systems operate efficiently across various project sites, primarily in the US. Travel is a key part of this position, enhancing your ability to impact renewable energy positively.
Key Responsibilities- Commission Sol Bank Storage Power Block
- Perform preventative and corrective SPB maintenance
- Provide onsite diagnostic and troubleshooting support
- Oversee and supervise subcontractors in office
- Analyze performance data to identify trends
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in a service role within renewable energy
- Knowledge of medium voltage power systems
- Solid communication and project management skills
- Ability to travel over 50% of the time
