In this key position within the Capital Planning & Operations team, you will oversee the boiler operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality steam heating. Your responsibilities include adhering to safety regulations, performing maintenance, and managing fuel inputs effectively. Unique tasks such as working under variable conditions will be integral to your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operation of the high-pressure heating plant

• Direct and manage incoming wood supply effectively

• Ensure safety and maintenance of work areas

• Perform necessary equipment maintenance in the plant

• Adapt to technological advancements in boiler systems

Requirements:

• Valid third class Power Engineer License required

• Familiarity with Work Safe NB regulations

• Experience with heating system operations is an asset

• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies

• Basic computer skills desirable
