Position: Stantec Mechanical Co-op Student Role
Join Stantec in Fredericton, NB as a Mechanical Co-op Student for Summer 2026. Support innovative engineering projects and develop vital skills in the energy sector.

The position offers a 12-16 month experience assisting the engineering team  will engage in various tasks, including compiling project data, preparing reports, and conducting engineering analyses. Work closely with technical staff on CAD drawings and models while also participating in site visits when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support engineering staff with project data evaluation

• Create 2D and 3D drawings with senior staff assistance

• Conduct site visits for project evaluation

• Organize project administration tasks and reporting

• Manage data files and track project costs

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn

• Experience with CAD and 3D modeling software

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

• Completed secondary education
