Fire Protection Engineering Manager

Lead fire protection initiatives in a hybrid work environment as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer. Design sophisticated fire safety systems for institutional and industrial projects across Canada.
You will take charge of complex fire protection design, coordinating with diverse teams to ensure systems meet stringent safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes mentoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the engineering discipline while optimizing project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct fire protection system design efforts

• Perform and review hydraulic calculations

• Develop technical documentation and reports

• Analyze life safety codes and provide recommendations

• Manage project coordination meetings and deliverables
Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years fire protection engineering experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• P.Eng. registration in Canada required

• Expertise in NFPA and local codes and standards

• Proficient in design software, including Revit
