Position: Hybrid Provincial Engineer Opportunity
Become a Provincial Engineer with Ducks Unlimited Canada in a hybrid work setting across Atlantic Canada. Drive dam safety efforts while contributing to environmental conservation projects.
In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a pivotal role in managing designs and inspections related to dam safety and water resource management. Your leadership will ensure the proficient execution of engineering projects while collaborating with a skilled team. Emphasizing innovative solutions, you will implement strategic plans that align with regulatory standards in hydrology and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead inspections and safety assessments of dams

• Develop dam operation plans and emergency procedures

• Manage and estimate costs for conservation infrastructure projects

• Collaborate in long-term budgeting and resource management

• Offer expert advice on regulatory approvals and civil engineering
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineering

• Professional Engineer (ing.) designation in Canada

• 5 years’ experience in water resources or dam safety

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Flexibility for travel and varied work hours
