KCB invites you to become a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and lead significant mining resource projects. Your responsibilities will span from project design to client engagement, ensuring safety and innovation in tailings and water dam construction. Collaborate with other engineering experts to drive comprehensive project success and mentor upcoming professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and assess tailings storage for efficiency
• Perform dam safety reviews and inspections
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
• Act as a key technical resource on projects
• Draft technical documentation and proposals for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, with a master’s preferred
• Over 20 years of experience in civil or geotechnical projects
• Ability to register as professional engineer in Canada
• Proficiency in relevant geotechnical software
• Strong report writing and communication skills
Lead pivotal geotechnical projects at KCB while nurturing future talent in the field.
