Overview Drive impactful geotechnical projects as a Senior Engineer with KCB in Fredericton, N.B. Engage in the design of tailings and water dams while guiding junior staff through best practices.
KCB is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead local and international mining projects. You will leverage your expertise in investigating and designing tailing storage facilities while ensuring dam safety and compliance. Opportunities for technical development and broadening responsibilities are available within the team.
Responsibilities Design tailing storage facilities for global mining clients
Conduct dam safety inspections and reviews
Mentor junior engineers in TSF design methodologies
Act as a senior resource for mine waste projects
Coordinate solutions across engineering disciplines
Qualifications Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
20+ years in civil or geotechnical projects
Eligible for P.Eng registration in Canada
Proficient in PLAXIS, FLAC, and SLOPE/W software
Robust communication and report writing skills
