As part of our Corporate Planning team, you will provide essential engineering support to ensure that NB Power meets resource adequacy obligations. The ideal candidate will conduct deterministic and probabilistic assessments to ensure energy security while utilizing software tools for extensive data analysis. You'll also communicate technical findings clearly to support strategic decisions in energy management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct load and resource balance assessments
• Use Plexos software for modeling and analysis
• Develop automation and database management solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations
• Analyze data using Python, R, or MATLAB
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in New Brunswick
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets
• Knowledge of power systems and renewable energy
• Ability to communicate technical results effectively
