As a Team Lead, Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering, you’ll guide multidisciplinary project delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive local growth while mentoring a team committed to excellence.

Your Impact
  • Lead a team of engineering professionals delivering transportation and infrastructure projects throughout New Brunswick.
  • Champion resource planning, recruitment, career development, and performance management to grow a resilient and engaged transportation and infrastructure practice.
  • Drive business development initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and elevate WSP’s market presence in the region.
  • Guide project managers in proactively managing scope, schedule, financials, quality, and delivery using WSP’s project management tools.
  • Oversee workload balancing and utilization, supporting inter‑office collaboration across Atlantic Canada.
  • Provide senior technical leadership, review and authentication of engineering deliverables, and ensure adherence to WSP quality processes.
  • Collaborate with municipal, provincial and federal governments, regulators, utilities, consultants, and contractors to advance community‑shaping infrastructure.
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or diploma in civil technologies) with eligibility for P.Eng. or CET registration in New Brunswick.
  • 10 years of experience.
  • Experience delivering and leading infrastructure projects such as corridor improvements, culvert replacements, drainage systems, and bridge replacements.
  • Strong familiarity with municipal, provincial and federal clients, permitting processes, and infrastructure priorities within Atlantic Canada.
  • Proven ability to mentor, develop, and motivate technical teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Business development experience with demonstrated success building client relationships and growing market share.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $162,800
  • MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 – $147,400

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range may be subject to change for business purposes.
