Position: Dartmouth Environmental Regulatory Scientist Role
Stantec is hiring an Environmental Regulatory Specialist in Dartmouth, NS. This full-time permanent position offers the chance to enhance environmental assessment and permitting initiatives within a dynamic team.

As part of this role, you will support project teams by assisting in the preparation of environmental assessments and regulatory applications. Your contributions will include identifying sensitive environmental constraints and providing insights into mitigation measures. Emphasizing health and safety, you are expected to actively engage in Stantec's HSSE Program, fostering a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on environmental assessment and permitting processes

• Assist in preparing environmental assessments and reports

• Evaluate sensitive environmental features and constraints

• Contribute regulatory expertise to various projects

• Promote health and safety within Stantec's programs

Requirements:

• Preferred Master’s degree in relevant field

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience

• Familiarity with provincial and federal regulations

• Effective writing and communication skills

• Attention to detail and quality in deliverables
