Mechanical Design Engineer in HVAC and Plumbing

You will facilitate HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection designs while conducting energy modeling for certifications like LEED. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical projects

• Design HVAC systems, plumbing, and specialized piping

• Perform sizing calculations for ductwork and equipment

• Conduct energy modeling for Green Buildings initiatives

• Coordinate with project teams on equipment schedules

Requirements:

• P.Eng. licensed with APEGNB or eligible for registration

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Code and standards

• Proficient in Revit/BIM;
AutoCAD is a plus

• Excellent communication and project management skills
