Position: Senior Power Generation Engineer Stantec
Join Stantec as a Senior Electrical Engineer in power generation. This role involves leading technical oversight in a hybrid work environment, focusing on rotating machines and electrical systems.

As part of the Atlantic Region Power team at Stantec, you will leverage 20+ years of electrical engineering experience to act as a Subject Matter Expert. Your responsibilities include providing senior advisory services, guiding engineering standards, and solving complex technical challenges relevant to utility-scale power generation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical oversight for hydro and thermal power systems

• Conduct independent design reviews for projects

• Serve as a trusted adviser for energy infrastructure clients

• Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts

• Engage in stakeholder discussions for project alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; master's an asset

• 20+ years' experience in power systems

• P.Eng. registered in Canada required

• Strong technical leadership and client engagement skills

• Expertise with control systems and modeling tools
