Position: Senior Engineer for Mactaquac Project
Lead engineering efforts at NB Power's Mactaquac Generating Station. This role demands expertise in mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering, ideally suited for professionals skilled in large-scale projects.

At NB Power, the Engineer V position plays a critical role within the Mactaquac Life Achievement Project. You will lead a team of discipline-specific engineers, ensuring quality and compliance across all project phases. Required skills include overseeing design and construction, technical guidance during RFIs, and facilitating stakeholder engagement throughout the execution and close-out stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design reviews and installation of turbines and mechanical systems

• Lead construction oversight and contractor quality monitoring

• Provide field support while adapting to construction challenges

• Approve design alternatives aligning with NB Power’s standards

• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines on projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering

• Registered Professional Engineer in New Brunswick

• Eight years of relevant engineering experience

• Proven leadership in large project teams

• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices
