Fredericton Structural Engineering Position

Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer in Fredericton, NB, to deliver solutions on engaging projects while fostering a commitment to clean energy and sustainability.

As a part of the Fredericton structural team, you will handle projects requiring intermediate-level oversight. You’ll be involved in the evaluation and engineering of structural components while adhering to industry codes. Your contributions will support a range of sectors such as oil and gas, pulp & paper, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and select structural systems for various projects

• Engage in structural design for power generation structures

• Create three-dimensional structural models and documentation

• Lead project coordination and represent clients in meetings

• Conduct quality control on project deliverables

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years in structural engineering, licensed in Canada

• Familiarity with structural design codes and analytical software

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Commitment to mentoring others and developing project scopes

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as needed
