As part of KCB's team, you will leverage your extensive experience (20+ years) in civil or geotechnical engineering to solve complex challenges in the mining industry.
Your role will involve planning, assessment, and crucial development of dam safety systems, while also mentoring junior engineers. Collaborating with various disciplines will be key to delivering comprehensive and sustainable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design storage for mining tailings and waste
• Conduct safety checks on dam projects
• Mentor junior staff in engineering best practices
• Serve as a technical expert for mining projects
• Prepare essential technical project documents
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
• 20+ years of relevant experience
• P.Eng registration eligibility in Canada
• Experience with PLAXIS, FLAC, and similar software
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
