This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.

The Fed Settlements Analyst is an integral position within the financial services sector, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the settlement process for transactions executed through the Federal Reserve by the trading desk. In today’s rapidly evolving financial landscape, the importance of precise and timely settlements cannot be understated. The analyst will engage with various teams, including daily engagements with the trading and sales desks, operational teams, and regulatory bodies to facilitate optimal settlement practices.

Furthermore, this role will involve resolving discrepancies in transaction records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing best practices to enhance settlement processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging analytical skills to interpret data, predict potential settlement issues, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
