Become a vital part of emergency communication in Current Brunswick as an Emergency Response Operator. Collaborate with agencies and ensure public safety by managing calls and relaying critical information.
In this role with the Radio Communications Branch at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, you will manage emergency and non-emergency calls while ensuring seamless communication under pressure. Your efforts will coordinate responses and keep the public informed during crises.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming emergency and non-emergency calls
• Provide accurate information to stakeholders
• Manage communication during multi-agency crises
• Update critical road condition data promptly
• Document communications accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Post-secondary diploma in relevant field preferred
• Five years of experience in public safety roles
• Proficiency with computers and telephonic systems
• Successful clearance of background checks
Utilize your communication skills and security knowledge to enhance emergency services in Current Brunswick.
