The Medical Affairs Coordinator oversees administrative support services within the department and provides coordination and operational support to Medical Staff programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs, this role will collaborate closely with department leadership, Physician Talent Acquisition, the Regional Chief of Staff and the Senior VP of Academic, Research and Medical Affairs.
Qualifications- You have a worked in healthcare operations/administration setting for a minimum of 2-4
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- You have experience with healthcare operations, project management, process and quality improvement initiatives, information systems, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with ability to identify and lead quality/process improvement opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with executive leaders, physicians, operational leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Digitally savvy with the ability to seek out innovative solutions, adopt new technologies, and adapt to new tools and systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with ability to maintain excellent standards of accountability and professionalism.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
