Staff Pharmacist

Position: Staff Pharmacist Role
Become a Staff Pharmacist with Horizon in the Fredericton area, New Brunswick, in a permanent full-time capacity. Deliver optimal pharmaceutical care, distribute medications, and enhance patient safety.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring client pharmaceutical care plans. This position requires strong communication skills to interact with both patients and the interdisciplinary team effectively. Working various shifts, including evenings and weekends, you'll lead pharmacy quality initiatives and play a crucial role in medication safety efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate pharmaceutical care strategies

• Communicate medication and treatment information effectively

• Participate in medication safety and quality projects

• Lead pharmacy initiatives aimed at improving patient care

• Support patients through education on their medications

Requirements:

• Must be licensed by the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists

• Ability to fulfill job requirements regularly

• Strong communication and leadership abilities
