Required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance at the NATO Secret Level
Must be a Canadian citizen, although dual-citizenship including Canada may be acceptable

Position Summary
We currently have a vacancy for a Training Coordinating Specialist who will coordinate, conduct and contribute to the planning, development and delivery of the LC4
ISR training solutions. Initially, the Training Coordinating Specialist will primarily be involved in coordinating training and administration of courses for both Thales employees and that of the Canadian Forces. The Training Coordinating Specialist is also responsible for collaborating in the development of the training associated with engineering changes and the coordination of Service Providers who provide Operator and Maintainer training to the LC4
ISR Enterprise (Thales employees, DND organizations). They will also act as a Product Owner for the team that will build and distribute the learning material associated with LC4
ISR, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Coordinate course planning services including:
develop Training schedules;
oversee Training Needs Analysis (TNA) data collection;
amend Training Documentation and Training Courseware incorporating all changes required to the Qualifications, Standards and Plans (QSPs) which may include editorial corrections, updates of references, and/or changes resulting from Engineering Configuration Changes;
schedule assessments of new courseware in accordance with DND approved standards and specifications;
support the design, development and acquisition of new training materials, courseware; and
oversee translation of all LC4
ISR courseware and reference materials.
Coordinate or Provide Training Delivery services including:
Develop and maintain schedule of training activities and OPIs;
Coordinate training delivery requirements with LC4
ISR enterprise including DND agencies and the prime.
provision of training delivery materials.
Coordinate and Provide the delivery of Training Materiel Support services via subcontractor including:
Provide services related to development or conduct of evaluation of training methods;
Exercise continuous improvement of all LC4
ISR courseware or virtual trainers; and
Acquire learning aids from supporting Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Product Owner duties within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) context, including:
Defining and Prioritizing the Team Backlog;
Acting as a Customer Proxy;
Participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning;
Ensuring Quality and Acceptance for assigned work items;
Continuous Collaboration on Agile processes, ceremonies and events;
Facilitating Stakeholder Feedback;
Maintaining alignment with Program Level activities & priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Post
-secondary education in Educational or Business Administration or an equivalent field
Experience with instructional design methodologies, training delivery, including both instructor-led training and self-directed, Computer Based Training.
At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile project management environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Canadian Forces Training Establishments, desired roles could include Training Manager, Course Training Officer (CTO), Curriculum Control Document Analyst (CCDA),
