Programmer Analyst Lead

Duration: 12 Month

• The work will comprise a mixture of steady state and project-based efforts including system operation, user support, third‑party software upgrades, fixing errors, adding new features, and reprogramming sections of the systems for efficiency or security.
• The resource will serve as a Programmer/Programmer Analyst and report to the Manager for leadership and supervision of overall duties and work assignments.

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Application programming and analysis experience.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated experience with CA Gen version 8.5 or higher.
• Experience developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Experience with Java / C++ and the Struts Framework.
• Experience with service management processes and tools (e.g., incident, change request, release management).
• Experience with SSRS.
• Experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.

• Experience with public sector health care applications and/or systems support in any Canadian provincial context.

• Pay Range: CAD $60-65 per hour (based on education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.).
