Job Overview

At CI, we look for a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and implement reusable frameworks, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure automation using modern cloud‑native architecture and AWS services.

Responsibilities
  • Build end‑to‑end cloud solutions using low‑level architecture documents.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure Specialists, Enterprise Architects, and Security to design and integrate cloud and on‑premises services.
  • Lead infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques for large‑scale enterprise applications.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code delivery pipelines using CI/CD and Dev Ops tools.
  • Understand the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test, to deploy.
  • Design and deploy pipelines using Docker, ECS, and/or EKS.
  • Provide expert hands‑on use of AWS technologies such as IAM, ECS, EKS, VPC, ELB, KMS, S3, Cloud Front, RDS, AWS‑CLI.
  • Work with large data sets and data lakes; support AWS Data Engineering technologies including Glue, EMR, Lake Formation, DMS, and Aurora Postgres.
  • Practice Dev Ops (Expert Level) with Terraform, Jenkins, AWS Code Build, Artifactory, Cloud Formation, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Web APIs, UIs, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and new technologies, including Cloud APIs, streaming, and metrics.
  • Script with modern languages including Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
  • Handle basic AWS tasks such as IAM roles, resource policies, S3 buckets, load balancers, and networking.
  • Lead and educate clients on cloud deployment patterns.
  • Act as SME for building infrastructure to support CI applications.
  • Investigate and resolve integration issues arising during implementation.
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in software development or IT operations with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering/Dev Ops.
  • Proven knowledge of public cloud (AWS preferred) in IaaS/PaaS/Serverless.
  • Experience deploying and managing containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure and platform services automation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Open Shift and Docker.
  • Experience with industry‑leading CI/CD pipeline tools:
    Confluence, Jira, Rundeck, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience developing cloud migration patterns.
  • Preferred experience in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and PHP.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience in SAFe, Kanban, Dev Ops, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Prior IT experience in a financial institution is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Public cloud related certifications (AWS Architect, AWS Dev Ops, etc.).
  • Technical proficiency with AWS resources (VPC, S3, EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, EMR, Lambda, API Gateway, Data Lake, etc.), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation), databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Postgre

    SQL, Dynamo

    DB, Oracle), middleware (Web Logic, Tomcat, JBoss), operating systems (RHEL, AIX, Windows), CI/CD (Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Artifactory), JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Cloudflare, OKTA, ADFS, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Python.
Compensation

Base salary range: $69,500 – $119,500 (depending on experience, skills, education, and budget). Additional bonus program eligibility.
