IT Specialist I-IV (Service Now Developer)

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coding, testing and debugging of applications and automations
• Design and analysis of new and existing applications and automations
• Utilizing application life cycle methodologies following standards and best practices
• Configuring and customizing Service Now applications, integrations, and plugins/spokes
• Prepare technical documentation, including test results, and technical manuals
• Review and identify new platform features that can be enabled for the business
• Share system administration responsibility with other team members

The ideal candidate will have one of the following:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent with concentration in software development
• Service Now certification combined with relevant experience

Combined with:

• Proficiency in computer programming and scripting
• Good analytical skills (problem solving)
• Understanding of relational databases
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Ability to communicate effectively

Experience or knowledge of the following would be considered assets:

• Service Now certification (Application Developer, System Administrator or Architect)
• Service Now Workflow Studio, App Engine Studio.
• Scripting (JavaScript)
• SOAP/REST API development
• Other low-code/no-code platforms
• ITIL Foundation certification
