Reporting to the Manager of Technology Enhanced Learning, the Audio Visual Support Specialist is crucial to organizing equipment loan services and media lab operations. You will assist faculty, staff, and students by ensuring the functionality of audio-visual equipment, providing support at events, and maintaining accurate loan records. The role offers an opportunity to enhance learning through technology, requiring both technical skills and client service expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with equipment loan services and technical support

• Set up and operate AV equipment for various events

• Maintain accurate records of all equipment transactions

• Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site event support

• Collaborate with the Resource Administrator for event logistics

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in AV technology or related field

• Minimum 3 years of AV support or equipment loan experience

• Strong client service skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments

• Knowledge of AV maintenance and troubleshooting processes
