Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy the CI/CD tool set on Cloud and on-premises.
- Work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to keep systems running smoothly.
- Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and business technology teams to design secure cloud application environments, platform enhancements, architecture, data services, cloud operations, and service integrations.
- Deploy, optimize and maintain CI/CD toolset and pipelines across multiple environments.
- Migrate application pipelines from Jenkins to AWS Code Suite for Continuous Integration, and from Spinnaker to ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
- Prioritize, drive, and validate strategies and roadmaps for Dev Ops, Agile, Configuration Management, API and Infrastructure Automation services, platforms, and technologies.
- Manage Jenkins installation, HA, RBAC, configuration, plugin installation, backup/restore, Jenkins files and monitoring.
- Automate tasks in JFrog Artifactory as part of the CI/CD development pipeline.
- Use Spinnaker’s deployment features to construct and manage continuous delivery workflows.
- Implement a Dev Sec Ops framework using Check Marx, Sonar Qube, and JFrog Xray.
- Provide Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration and management.
- Understand and implement security controls in the cloud.
- Design enterprise management processes, tools, integrations, and procedures for smooth cloud system operations.
- Develop reference architectures and best‑practice approaches to optimize cloud adoption and application performance.
- Drive the Dev Ops mindset and culture, focusing on Infrastructure‑as‑Code and Infrastructure‑as‑Service.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure with Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Systems Manager.
- Establish an IaC framework using Terraform for AWS.
- Automate manual tasks using Python.
- Troubleshoot and investigate complex customer CI/CD scenarios and provide solutions.
- Analyze log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, JVM and OS parameters.
- Set up, design, and build CI pipelines with Docker, NPM, Java, PyPI, and other binaries.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 12+ years of experience in software, systems, architecture, or Dev Ops disciplines.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – certification.
- Kubernetes Certified Administrator certification.
- CI/CD experience with Bitbucket, AWS Code Suite, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Check Marx, JFrog Artifactory, and Xray.
- Experience with SDLC life cycle (agile and waterfall) and associated IT processes.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing architecture for large complex applications and platforms.
- Experience with monolith and microservices application architectures.
- Strong understanding of deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary.
- Solid understanding of security processes, standards, and issues in multi‑tier cloud or hybrid applications.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation.
- Base salary range: $120,000–$170,000 (salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget; may vary by geographic location).
