UNB Systems Analyst - IT Services

Become a Systems Analyst with UNB's Information Technology Services in a flexible hybrid role. This full-time position aims to enhance system efficiency and database integrity within the university.
In this role, reporting to the Manager of Systems and Applications, you will ensure that ITS-managed systems meet high performance and security standards. You will provide crucial support for operational processes, design effective systems, and engage in constant performance monitoring. Expect to collaborate with project teams to implement innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain security infrastructure and systems

• Ensure databases are efficiently managed and consulted

• Conduct quality installations of new systems

• Monitor operational metrics and analyze system performance

• Collaborate effectively with project teams
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related

• Two years of relevant systems analysis experience

• Familiarity with Linux and VMware environments

• Administrative skills in MySQL or MS SQL preferred

• Experience with Bash or Python scripting is an asset
