Duration: 12 Months (up to 260 working days) with possible extension

About the RoleService New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst III to support the implementation of the New Brunswick Cancer Network's Lung and Cervical HPV Screening Programs. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into scalable Salesforce-based technology solutions.
This role requires expertise in healthcare transformation initiatives, Agile delivery, Salesforce implementations, stakeholder engagement, business process analysis, and product backlog management.
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and requirements-gathering activities.
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process documentation.
- Conduct workflow analysis, gap analysis, impact assessments, and operational readiness assessments.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
- Create epics, features, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and maintain Agile product backlogs using Jira or similar tools.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demonstrations.
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support Salesforce implementation and modernization initiatives.
- Map business requirements to Salesforce objects, workflows, and data models.
- Assist with Salesforce integrations, data exchange, and business process transformation.
- Develop SOPs, workflow documentation, and operational frameworks.
- Support organizational change management and transition-to-operations activities.
- Create training materials, user guides, and support documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop test scenarios and test cases.
- Validate business acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
- Support implementation planning and deployment readiness.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of IM/IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Salesforce implementations or Salesforce-based solutions.
- Minimum 7 years as a Senior Business Analyst and/or Product Owner delivering:
- Workshop facilitation
- User story development
- Backlog grooming and refinement
- Salesforce integrations and data exchange initiatives
- Business process analysis and workflow design
- Minimum 2 years working on Public Sector IM/IT projects.
- Minimum 3 months supporting a Healthcare project within New Brunswick, Canada.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
- Available to start July 2026.
