AV​/VC Technologist at UNB

Enhance learning environments at UNB as an AV/VC Technologist. This full-time position focuses on supporting audio-visual technology across teaching and meeting spaces in Fredericton.

As part of Information Technology Services, you'll play a key role in installing, configuring, and maintaining AV/VC equipment at the University of New Brunswick. This position requires a diploma in a technology field and three years of related experience. Expect to document and troubleshoot AV/VC systems while providing essential technical support for classroom and meeting space technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure AV/VC equipment across UNB

• Troubleshoot and document AV/VC issues in shared systems

• Maintain inventory records and prepare equipment for disposal

• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training AV/VC student staff

• Conduct bi-annual audits of AV/VC services

Requirements:

• Diploma in technology field

• 3 years technology work experience

• Troubleshooting experience with Windows and Linux

• Excellent customer service skills

• Adaptability in changing tech environments
