Job Summary:

The QA Analyst (QA/Tester) III is responsible for creating and maintaining performance testing initiatives, ensuring application quality, and adhering to government IT policies and security standards. This role involves collaboration with project stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and support project and maintenance release plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain performance testing initiatives following best practices.
  • Complete QA deliverables as defined in the Deliverable Assessment Framework.
  • Ensure application quality based on project scope and requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with project and team representatives.
  • Participate in quality review sessions and status meetings.
  • Collaborate with IT resources during design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with government IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Develop user documentation and procedures.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer with QA team members at assignment completion.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Skills &

Certifications:
  • Experience in performance testing and QA methodologies.
  • Knowledge of government IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop user documentation and procedural guides.
  • Experience working within project and maintenance release frameworks.
Preferred Skills &

Certifications:
  • Familiarity with Deliverable Assessment Frameworks.
  • Experience with quality review processes and working group meetings.
  • Background in knowledge transfer and team collaboration.
Special Considerations:
  • Must adhere to strict government IT security and compliance standards.
  • Participation in regular project and team meetings is required.
Scheduling:
  • Work schedule aligned with project timelines and maintenance release plans.
  • Attendance at status and working group meetings as required.
