As the Manager of Procurement Services, you report to the Director of Financial Services and directly influence the university's purchasing strategies.

Your role includes developing procurement policies, ensuring compliance with legislation, and guiding faculties towards effective resource acquisition. You will spearhead competitive procurement processes and foster a customer-oriented culture within your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish ethical procurement policies and guidelines

• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation

• Provide strategic guidance to departments on procurement

• Manage competitive tenders and vendor negotiations

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management

• At least 6 years of procurement experience

• 2 years in a supervisory capacity

• CPPB certification or willingness to obtain

• Familiarity with public sector procurement practices
