Full-Time Heavy Duty Cleaner GDI

GDI Services is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Duty Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across facilities in Canada. You will be responsible for cleaning hard floors, carpets, and washrooms while providing high-quality service.

As a vital member of the GDI team, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness in offices, common areas, and washrooms. With responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, and high dusting, attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. You’ll work independently, mostly indoors, ensuring all spaces are pristine and welcoming to clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and stair surfaces

• Steam clean carpets and strip/wax floors as needed

• Clean and maintain bathrooms and replace supplies

• Monitor and report any maintenance issues promptly

• Collect and properly dispose of building trash daily

Requirements:

• Must work well independently and as part of a team

• Ability to use various cleaning equipment effectively

• Own transportation required for site commutes

• Strong attention to detail and high energy levels

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs as required
