Maintenance Planning Specialist

Position: Maintenance Planning Specialist Needed
Elevate plant operations as a Maintenance Planning Specialist. Focus on scheduling and coordinating maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency in a heavy industrial environment.

This key role involves developing maintenance schedules and work orders in collaboration with maintenance supervisors and tradespeople. You'll prioritize work requests based on safety and operational needs, while also monitoring the maintenance backlog. Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and strong analytical skills are crucial for identifying areas for improvement and supporting preventive maintenance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage maintenance schedules weekly and long-term

• Produce detailed work orders including safety procedures

• Coordinate maintenance projects and planned outages

• Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System

• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime

Requirements:

• Degree or certification in Mechanical or similar field

• Preferred experience in maintenance planning or supervision

• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and JD Edwards systems
