Responsibilities
The successful candidate will carry out the task of learning to operate a forklift, and fill in as needed throughout plant

Other duties will include but not necessarily be limited to:

Learning safe operation of Block making, palletizing product

Repairing pallets

Cleaning mixer

Cleaning work areas

Cleaning block machine

Other tasks assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

Aptitude for insuring safety as the priority with the demands of production

Positive attitude and motivated to contribute to high production results

Participate in MDP and Toolbox meetings

Minimum Grade XII or equivalent

Must be able to operate lift truck in a safe manner

Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for problem solving and trouble shooting

Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)

Must be willing to learn

Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Must be willing to work flexible hours as required

Clean Attendance and Discipline Record

Welding experience would be considered an asset
